“Hardly ever leaving my workshop, I soon understood the confinement simply as a different experience, a space of freedom away from the world. So I threw myself into my work, frenetically realizing all of the projects that I had put off : finish writing the novel that was taking up space in my head, rebuild the “jet” kiln that I used forty years ago for my first yohen attempts. The experiments and the firing cycles have begun again, with jubilation !”
