The “Diam” stool is the result of formal and material research based on the jib of a boat at the end of its life. The sail, uniquely fashioned by its previous experiences and the savoir-faire of the master sailmaker, is therefore much more than a material composed of carbon fibers between two sheets of mylar. Made from superimposed layers of sail, this stool originates from an assemblage of folds worked in a structural manner, and then molded in order to obtain the final form of the object.
