With this famous Tulip armchair the American architecture and designer of Finnish origin, Eero Saarinen offers a chair that is innovative both in formal and technical terms. It uses all the properties of plastic to conceive a curved unibody. The principle of a body supported by a single central base in cast aluminium for greater solidity and stability, covered in plastic paint of the same colour, gives the chair its visual unity.
