A graduate in goldsmithing at the London Royal College of Art, Chris Knight tackles simultaneously the domains of tableware and sculpture. He generally uses silver, but also bronze and weathered steel for this piece decorated with iron tips, its references connected to the aesthetic of the machine and the many cutting tools of Japanese cuisine. He often makes drawings using computers, which adds complexity to the profiles of his forms.
