This desk came from the home of Édouard Rasson, a textile industrialist in Roubaix and a client of Ruhlmann’s. Another example was presented in the “Ambassador’s Office” at the “French Embassy” pavilion created by the Société des Artistes Décorateurs at the 1925 Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes in Paris.
