A dining room by Louis Süe and André Mare, 1920-1921

This furniture suite, made in 1920-1921 by the Compagnie des Arts Français, reflects the return to tradition inspired by the Louis-Philippe style, with dark woods and solid forms. The dessert trolley and corner cupboards display white earthenware crockery produced by the Compagnie des Arts Français and glass pieces by Maurice Marinot, which soften the dark tones of the furniture.
