The Dutch designer Joris Laarman has for a long time been experimenting with the applications of digital technologies to design. Using software generally employed in filmmaking, he has simulated the flight of birds and captured this movement. This freeze frame was then translated into three dimensions by a 3D printer. This table has been made in four pieces that were then assembled and covered with nickel.
