The garden, at the rear of the museum and adjoining the Parc Monceau, was
designed at the beginning of the 20th century by the landscape gardner Achille Duchêne. It has an exceptional view of the mansion’s north façade, inspired by the Petit Trianon at Versailles. During the summer months, a reception in the garden can follow or precede an enchanting visit of this sumptuous residence dedicated to the French art of living. Drinks can be served after visiting the museum and a tent can be erected for
exceptional events.
